Lessons delivered by Adam Winchester
With roots in the Bristol dubstep scene as Wedge, and a long-standing partnership with Christopher Jarman in Dot Product, Adam has been producing music, DJing and releasing records for around 20 years. He has been a professional teacher for over 12 years, has a Masters degree in Creative Sound and Media Technology, and has been using Ableton as his main production tool for many years.

This beginners Crash Course in Ableton Live will give you a solid overview of the DAW, and get you started on your journey into uncharted sonic waters. DAW's can be daunting places, and sometimes it's hard to know where to begin, but with the personal mentoring, feedback, and focussed tuition that this course delivers, you'll be creating your own music in no time!

Both days will be split into a morning and afternoon class, with an hour lunch break in the middle.

Recording Audio from different inputs
Audio manipulation using basic functions

Using basic fx with powerful results.

Arrangement and Structure.
Using Send & Return Tracks
Automating parameters to bring life and movement to your tracks.
Finishing and Bouncing

10 hours of live coaching and teaching from the tutor and their years of experience in music production. 
Access to an online drive full of resources, reading material, sounds, and lesson slides. 
An interactive online classroom environment with other like minded students from all over the world.
Regular tasks and activities during class and for homework. 
Access to the Ramp Alumni group to stay connected and share ideas with classmates. 
Class Discord server to keep in touch with tutor and classmates outside of lessons.

Your own laptop and headphones with Ableton Live 9, 10, or 11 installed.
A decent internet connection in a quiet environment to learn.
